In the summer of 1999, the artists took over the Palace of Versailles virtually. A series of performances and virtual installations were made at the Chateau. Following these actions, the postcards were sent by the artists to Irma la Douce, Véronique Hubert and Olga Kisseleva. These cards were then transmitted to the Russian artists, who had carried out at the same time the real actions at the Chateau de Peterhof, the equivalent of the "Russian Versailles" around St Petersburg. The joint exhibitions, organized by Nicolai Selivanov, took place in August 1999 at the Chateau de Peterhof and in September - October 1999, at the first biennial of contemporary art in Krasnoiarsk (Siberia).The global project, entitled "Memory Flashing".
